Bill Ayers is a social justice activist, teacher, distinguished professor education (retired) at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and author of two memoirs, Fugitive Days and Public Enemy. He was a former leader of the Weather Underground
Bernardine Dohrn, also a leader of the Weather Underground, is married to Bill Ayers. While attending law school she began working with Martin Luther King, Jr. and became the first law student organizer for the National Lawyers Guild. From 1991 to 2013 she was a Clinical Associate Professor of Law at the Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern University School of Law.
