Peekskill Halloween Ball at Dramatic Hall!

This event, a benefit for Resist SPECTRA, marks two important Peekskill community mileposts:
* The first special event at newly renovated Dramatic Hall, a turn-of-the-century Music Hall in the new Peekskill Market at 900 Main Street, Peekskill, NY;
* The Fifth Anniversary screening of an independent feature, WE ARE THE HARTMANS, shot in Peekskill, featuring very familiar parts of the city, including the Peekskill Police department.
After the screening, Dramatic Hall will feature musicians and bands from the movie, with a full-tilt-boogie night of dancing until midnight. The MC and Host is the musical artist Noodle, who is also known as Andre Rainey, Peekskill City Councilman.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue.
The film, screened at 7 p.m., stars Richard Chamberlain (Thorn Birds, Dr. Kildaire), Ben Curtis (recognized as the Dell computer guy) and again... drum roll, please... the City of Peekskill.
The special band and musicians will begin at 9 p.m.
Proceeds go to benefit the legal fund of Resist SPECTRA, an ad-hoc group of citizens and groups who oppose Spectra Energy's AIM pipeline, currently being constructed 105 feet from Indian Point Nuclear plant. For more information, see resistaim.com
