An Evening with Arnaldo! and Friends at the Filipino Community Center of Seattle
The Filipino Community of Seattle is proud to present a dinner/cabaret show featuring an extraordinary Filipino-American artist, Arnaldo!, on September 7, 2012 The show is entitled: "An Evening with Arnaldo! and Friends"with dinner seating at 6pm and show is at 7:30PM. Charles Baker is the musical director.
(For those of you in the know, Patsy will make a special appearance. For those of you who do not know Patsy, well you just gotta come to find out.)
Arnaldo! is a 2008 New York Bistro Award Winner and in 2010 was chosen by the San Francisco Bay Times "Jazz & Cocktails" as one of the top 10 cabarets that played in the Bay area. Based in the Seattle area, Arnaldo!'s acts are original and glamorous and with a voice that is outstanding, he is a total world class entertainer. He will be joined by other local talented singers and performers in the Seattle area. Also, in 2012, Arnaldo! will be the guest performer during the holiday concerts of the Seattle Men's Chorus in Benaroya Hall and of the Puerto Vallarta Men's Chorus in the 900 seater Teatro Vallarta in Mexico.
Proceeds for "An Evening with Arnaldo! and Friends"will benefit the future performance of "Floradora: Reimagined", an adaptation of a Broadway comedy musical that was set in the Philippines in 1890's and to be retold with Filipino perspective. "Floradora: Reimagined" will be held in October as part of the Filipino-American month celebration at the Filipino Community Center.
Some members of the cast of "Florodora:Reimagined" Charles Crowley, Manny Golez and Melissa Fleming will be joining Arnaldo! Victor Loo of Pride Asia and former Cirque de Soleil soloist and Seattel singer Jeannette d'Armand will also be doing special numbers for the evening.
Cost: $25.00 per person which includes dinner and show. Tickets are also available at FCC office and website. (Festival seating with first come first served basis.)
