Confessions of a Prairie Bitch
Feature Performance: Alison Arngrim presents the stand-up version of "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch".
Alison is best known for her performance as "Nasty" Nellie Oleson on the hit television series Little House on the Prairie. From her LA Times Review: "Arngrim's wickedly funny stand-up paean to her signature character is essentially a free-form account of growing up in show business. It also displays Arngrim's skills at adult comedy. Amid the dishy name-dropping, Arngrim, whose Keane-painting eyes and off-the-cuff delivery seem more suitable than ever for Ionesco, exudes grateful bemusement over her singular career. Primarily, though, "Confessions" brings Nellie Oleson back to the irreverent faithful, sans apologies." According to press notes, "audiences can expect the unexpected and more than a little Nellie Oleson-style wickedness on this hilarious ride through the twisted heartland of America."
