Sheila Kay Adams House Concert in Marshall, Sunday, August 26
The BridgeBack Concert Series is downright dee-lighted to announce this upcoming downtown Marshall concert with downhome darlin', Sheila Kay Adams. Ballads, banjo and side-stitchin', (mostly) true stories, on a Sunday afternoon. Bring your kids, bring your friends (bring your own pillow for the metal chairs). - Extra special is a cameo opening set by Sheila's son Andrew Barnhill. Add that to the usual BridgeBack potluck Floor Spot songs by Who Knows!
- Sheila Adams, born and raised in the old-time traditional singing community of Sodom Laurel, Madison County, has played, sung, and talked herself into our hearts for the past three decades. This is a rare opportunity for us home folks to see Sheila at her best -'stand up visiting'.
- tickets are $15/ $10 for students or low-income. Pre-pay through Brown Paper Tickets guarantees your seat; Call to inquire for availability of tickets at the door.
- RSVP to MaryEagle, at 828-649-1549 is highly recommended, as SEATING IS LIMITED. Unclaimed tickets/seats will be offered at the door at 2:45.
- Door opens at 2:30, open seating. - Music begins at 3:00 with 15 minutes of Floor Spots, then Andrew Barnhill's opening set, then two sets by Sheila Kay; cider and stretch between sets.
