Ensemble 451 opens its season with a special concert to celebrate John Cage's 100th birthday!
Please join us on Sunday, September 9 at 4:33pm at the Armory Café to revel in musical sounds and words by one of the greatest minds of the 20th century:
"I have nothing to say and I am saying it"
A celebration of John Cage
Ensemble 451 will present a variety of John Cage's musical and philosophical compositions, including Daughters of the Lonesome Isle for prepared piano, Story for speech quartet, excerpts from the Lecture on Nothing, and his arguably most famous composition, 4'33".
