From Sandwich to Shirt: Dyeing Fabric from Basic Food Waste
Join us for a group luncheon, as we chop and chew we will use our food waste for a hands-on tutorial of natural dyeing techniques. Artist Sierra Reading, a recent graduate of the California College of the Arts Textiles Department, will lead us in this table to shirt experiement. Stop in to grab a snack, play with wool, and make a colorful creation.
