WhistlePig Rye Whiskey Tasting

Join us for a special tasting of WhistlePig Rye Whiskey on October 26th, as we welcome Dave Pickerell (pictured here), the Master Distiller at WhistlePig, who was previously Master Distiller at Makers Mark for 14 years. A true whiskey celebrity!

We're pleased not only to host Dave, but to offer an extremely rare opportunity to try a very special WhistlePig release, Boss Hog. This is a whiskey that's only very occasionally produced, and in very small quantities. It's single barrel, nicely aged, cask strength, expensive, and almost impossible to find, but Dave will be bringing the brand new release (the last one was in 2014), and we'll include a small taste of the 2016 Boss Hog along with more generous pours of the WhistlePig 10 Year, Old World 12 Year (finished in European wine casks), and 15 Year whiskeys.

This is a fantastic chance to hang out with an industry legend, and to try some great 100% Rye Whiskey. Also attending will be our local rep for WhistlePig, Matt Harvey, whom many of you will remember from other tastings we've hosted recently, like Del Maguey Mezcal...it's going to be a killer evening of Rye and comraderie!
