From Field to Fork in the Food Shed: Explore, Learn, Eat
Join us for a farm to market excursion in the Catskills where we will explore food at its source and dine on the local bounty.
Explore the farms and meet some of the farmers who grow the foods that feed NYC. Learn about the realities of grass fed beef, trout hatcheries, cheesemaking and egg laying. Eat some great food!
This 3-night 2 Day excursion will include farm tours, aquaculture visit, local dining, local markets and a feast prepared especially for us by a special guest chef.

Itinerary:
Thursday 8.23.12
4:00PM leave NYC the trip is approximately 3.5 hours (see below for transportation options)
7:30PM - arrive in Fleischmann's or Arkville check in to lodging (lodging not included in ticket price see below for lodging options))
8:00PM- Dinner at The Peekamoose in Big Indian (not included in ticket price)
