A Debate and Dialogue with Amy Baehr and Daniel Shapiro
Amy Baehr (Hofstra) and Daniel Shapiro (West Virginia) will come together to debate and discuss some of the central questions of political philosophy facing the nation today questions of inequality, mass incarceration, healthcare, and more. They will show how their philosophical work bears on these questions; they will seek to understand the sources of their disagreements and try to find reasoned agreement where they can.
