Project Leather Bad never looked this good.
EMP Museum ushers in a new exhibition, Worn to Be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket with Project Leather that will shine a spotlight on burgeoning Northwest designers working in the medium of leather.
The show will include futuristic fashions by Portland husband and wife duo, Ms. Wood; a line of bohemian inspired rock 'n' roll jackets by Aykut Ozen; dramatically up-cycled silhouettes by Stone Crow Design; sci-fi movie motivated pieces by Pierre Davis; street-smart meets celebrity chic garments by Carole McClellan; and architecturally inspired looks from the hand of Ruki: by Melanie Parr. All will take leather on a wild walk down Sky Church's runway. Taking cues from front-runners in the world of fashion, Project Leather designers are using one of the oldest clothing materials on earth to make their own mark and become the trendsetters of tomorrow.
Exclusive trunk sale where runway items and additional pieces from each designers collection will be available for purchase.
