In the ancient traditions of storytelling during the "black months" of October and November, join Banquo Folk Ensemble in celebrating the darker side of the season with tales and tunes from medieval times through the 18th century.
Imagine you are gathered by the fire with us for an intimate and theatrical evening of haunting melodies, lively dances, maybe even a tall tale or two, performed on our array of instruments including voice, hurdy gurdy, smallpipes, recorders, bagpipes, harp, cittern, shawm, vielle, percussion and more.
