"Beowulf" at CTE/TAM Drama: an epic adventure!
A series of adventures and voyages including battles with a monster and a dragon, "Beowulf" has been adapted for stage in a entertaining version by Julianna Rees, who also directs. Sword fighting, movement and drumming add to the intensity of the story.
The cast is comprised of advanced drama students in the award-winning Conservatory Theatre Ensemble, Tamalpais High School's award winning drama program. Advanced students also design all aspects of the production and provide the production team.
Performances are all at the Caldwell Theatre located at the back of TAM High (near Almonte and Stadium) in Mill Valley, CA. Curtain is at 7:00 PM and doors open at 6:30 for open seating. Latecomers are seated at the discretion of the CTE staff.
Due to the intensity of the the drumming and sword play, we don't recommend the play for younger children. Fifth grade and up.
