WVLO SUGAR
SUGAR is an outrageously, funny musical version of the classic film comedy, "Some Like It Hot". SUGAR opened on Broadway in 1972 receiving four Tony nominations, starring Robert Morse and Tony Roberts playing two dance-band musicians who witness the St. Valentine's Day gangland massacre in Chicago, and manage to escape by disguising themselves as members of an all-girl orchestra which takes them to Miami for a series of romantic complications. Elaine Joyce appeared as Sugar Kane, the part immortalized on the screen by Marilyn Monroe. Memorable songs include "Sun In My Face", "What Do You Give A Man Who's Had Everything", "When You Meet a Man In Chicago" and "Sugar"
