Duquesne University's Red Masquers Present the world premiere of "Rust" by F.J. Hartland.
Set in the 1980's Rust Belt, "Rust" follows a year in lives of the Strnad family following Merrick's (the father) unemployment. Told from Slovak immigrant, 1st generation American, and 2nd generation American perspectives, F.J. Hartland's play deals with financial and social struggles that impact all three generations and challenge their unity as a family.
