Copywriting Fundamentals
A well-written, creative ad is a joy to read, while a boring, information-heavy ad is typically ignored by readers. In this workshop, we'll explore what makes an effective ad and learn techniques for writing engaging headlines, marketing copy, and brochures/web sites. If you are interested in working in this field, either for an ad agency or a non-profit, you will learn how to break in with a starter portfolio. If you are interested in writing marketing materials for your own venture, the skills learned will jumpstart your sales writing techniques. No previous experience in writing or advertising necessary.
Course fee: Must sign up for the full 8 weeks: $300, minimum 7 people (sign up by November 15, $250)
