One Act Play Festival at the Latino Cultural Center Friday, September 21, 2012
From Thursday September 20 to Saturday, September 22, the LCC will host its first One-Act play festival featuring local theater companies: Cara Mia Theater Company, Mujeres de Arcadia, and Teatro Flor Candela.

Mujeres de Arcadia
Lucia Gonzalez, artistic director of Mujeres de Arcadia, will star in a one-woman show titled, De casada y otras 'adas'. This comedy makes fun of women who are not happy with what they are given and want more and draws from vignettes by Guadalupe Duenas and Francoise Sagan. (This performance will be in Spanish)
***INTERMISSION***
Teatro Flor Candela
Teatro Flor Candela will delve into this scenic poem with an exploration of myths from Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the stories of Gabriela Huesca woven as a long poem. (This performance will be in Spanish.)
