One Act Play Festival at the Latino Cultural Center Thursday September 20, 2012
From Thursday September 20 to Saturday, September 22, the LCC will host its first One-Act play festival featuring local theater companies: Cara Mia Theatre Co., Mujeres de Arcadia, and Teatro Flor Candela.

Cara Mia will present a workshop of Part I of The Dreamers Trilogy, focusing on the violence experienced by women as they make a treacherous passage from El Salvador through Mexico to reach the United States
***INTERMISSION***
Lucia Gonzalez, artistic director of Mujeres de Arcadia, will star in a one-woman show titled, De casada y otras 'adas'. This comedy makes fun of women who are not happy with what they are given and want more and draws from vignettes by Guadalupe Duenas and Francoise Sagan. (This performance will be in Spanish)
