GENIASS PRESENTS: Don Winsley CD Release Party!
Don Winsley www.soundcloud.com/donwinsley Don Winsley, formed in 2010, is the musical alias of producer Daniel Kairoff. Met with rave reviews from music blogs across the internet, Don Winsley recently went number 3 on the popular music charts of Hype Machine for his track "Guillermo". The North Carolina native has one release under his belt with 2011's "You Dance Now" and plans the release of his first album in August 2012 titled "Rise Of The Weasel King" on East Van Digital. Don Winsley is joined by drummer Miles Cramer in a live setting to make for a beat blasting spectacular. With a label like "Post Avant Pizza Style" coming from Hype Machine, Don Winsley is anything but ordinary.
Cry Wolf www.soundcloud.com/crywolf Cry Wolf was born when former hardcore vocalist Justin Phillips decided to pursue his interest in exploring electronic music. Enlisting the help of lifelong friend Johnluke Lewis on drum kit, he set out to create music that fused their Indie and Hardcore backgrounds with their newfound love for electronic music. With less than a year of performing under their belts, they have had their music featured in two films, gotten radio play everywhere from New York to North Carolina, been featured on major music television site fuse.tv, and toured the south-east, sharing stages with national acts such as Skrillex, Deiselboy, Kaskade, and Steve Aoki. Cry Wolf has been met with rave reviews from top music blogs such as This Song Is Sick, Ear Milk, Play This Song Loud, and Good Music All Day, and held the #1 spot on both The Hype Machine and Twitter's music charts for three days straight.
Fast Nasty http://soundcloud.com/fast-nasty FAST NASTY is the alter ego of the always-smiling southeast madman, Matt Keaton. FastNasty has had a wonderful year in the electronic music scene. Featured on BBC 1xtra's Daily Dose of Dubstep and Beatport's "Must Hear" dubstep tracks of the week, he has enjoyed selling out shows in his hometown of Knoxville, TN at the Valarium while expanding his realm alongside some of his biggest idols all across the Southern United States. He recently made the Untz.com Pick of the Week with his Beavis and Butthead remix ( available now for free->http://mindelixirpresentsbasschurch.bandcamp.com/ ). FastNasty released a Free EP early in 2011, spreading to numerous blogs around the world. He continues to push the boundaries of what the music scene refers to as post-dubstep. Look for his next EP release coming soon on Made In Glitch.
Liam Collins http://soundcloud.com/pushpullsound Push/Pull was born in late 2011 and has since begun emitting full-spectrum blasts of audio that will both caress your speaker cones and massage your ears. With focus on large-scale movement and a fine attention to detail, Liam's music is equally suited to a careful listening environment or a large dance floor. This new solo project sees Liam moving in a slightly different direction than his previous partnership with Sheridan Willard as Perileyes. The two did recently collaborate on a remix of Opiuo's "Robo Booty" that was released exclusively on addictech and charted for about a month. In the past few years Liam has had the privilege to play sets at Sonic Bloom, The Big Up, The Magnetic Gathering, Equinox, and more, as well as share the stage with acts such as Ott, Kilowatts, Bird of Prey, Excision, Lotus, Benga, Nasty Nasty, Ana Sia, Break Science and more.
