Singer Songwriter Dan Mills fronts a five piece band based out of Brooklyn, NY. Mills' music has been featured on XM radio, and he is now in the process of releasing his third full length album of catchy, lyrically driven folk/pop songs. Recently, Mills portrayed country guitar legend Carl Perkins in the Broadway Cast of Million Dollar Quartet, and is currently having his songs adapted into a musical expected to run this fall in NYC. A new sound is nothing without an old soul. Keeping this in mind, Tumbleweed Company strives to craft each song with equal parts care and exploration. Musical alchemists, the 6-piece group brings listeners a sound that combines the comfort of the South with the adventure of the West, all while maintaining the member's North-Eastern roots of passion and academia (planted at Berklee College of Music). Mixing folk and blues, Tumbleweed Company rocks and rolls . Three part harmonies ring over an orchestra of unique instruments, allowing a range of emotion that lends itself perfectly to musical storytelling.
