Joe Jencks "Rise As One" CD Release Concert
Celebrate the release of Joe Jencks' new live CD, "Rise As One," which features labor songs recorded during a performance for the Folklore Society of Greater Washington, D.C. Joe will perform selections from the new disc (available at discount) and old favorites as well--expect special guests!
Award-winning songwriter and stunning tenor Joe Jencks has built a career based as much upon ministering to the human spirit as it is in the performance of music. He will ask you to sing along! Regularly sharing stages with Pete Seeger, Utah Phillips, Holly Near, John McCutcheon, Pat Humphries, Bill Staines, and other folk-heavyweights, Joe has earned national recognition for his songs about working people and for his unique merging of musical beauty, social consciousness, and spiritual exploration. A Seattle resident for ten years, Joe makes his present home in Cincinnati.
