Explorit's Nature Bowl Team
Nature Bowl is a environmental education competition for local 3rd-6th graders sponsored by California Fish and Wildlife.
Explorit Science Center will coach a team on Thursday afternoons from October to April to prepare participants to compete at the regional semifinals hosted by the Yolo Basin Foundation in April.
The team meets at Explorit Science Center beginning October 6. Registration is open to interested students in 3rd through 6th grades; only 16 students can represent the team at competition.
Weekly meetings focus on local ecology, nature exploration, and simulating Nature Bowl competition games. Team work is a must!
The $20 registration fee is a one-time cost for the entire Nature Bowl experience and covers the cost of supplies and a t-shirt for each participant!
