Collaboration/Creation

We are an interdisciplinary collaborative team of 4 to 6 artists who originated in Barcelona, Spain in mid-2011. This workshop is a sharing of our project and what we have discovered about the collaborative creation process. We have developed, shifted and dis/engaged within our project through collectivity. We have discovered and determined approaches to creating within the context of collaboration, always vacillating between structure and improvisation. While identifying territories and roles for each of us, we take the responsibility of challenging them. Within this framework, we will also offer an inside eye by presenting specific artistic ideas and exercises that exist within our performance. Participants will ultimately add to their own tools and approaches to art-making. Workshop is open to ALL levels and fields of movement, art, and life.
