The GREAT Salt City Blues Concert
On December 26 at 7:30 pm the Palace Theatre will be host to the GREAT Salt City Blues Concert, an historic celebration of the rich blues history of Syracuse as one of the most important Blues cities in the Northeastern United States.
The players that are participating in The GREAT Salt City Blues Concert all still reside in Central New York and are actively playing. These musicians have greatly contributed to the history of the Syracuse Blues community. They have played in some of the greatest Syracuse based bands of the last 40 years: The Kingsnakes, Built For Comfort, Lil Georgie & the Shuffling Hungarians, Cold Shot, Los Blancos, Out Of The Blue, Tom Townsley & the Backsliders, Jam Factory, Backbone Slip, Ron Spencer Band, and others.

The GREAT Salt City Blues Concert is dedicated in honor of Kelly James, Roosevelt Dean, Kyle Shirley & Dave Olson, great Syracuse Blues musicians for are no longer physically with us but their contributions and spirit to the Syracuse Blues community will always be felt.
The GREAT Salt City Blues Concert will NOT be a jam session. Think Last Waltz presented with rhyme & reason for your enjoyment by Blue Wave Productions.
Tickets are $20.00 and advance sale tickets purchased before December 15th will receive a free Blue Wave CD with each ticket purchased. CDs will be given to ticket holders the night of the show at the door. Advance sale tickets can be purchased online at www.brownpapertickets.com, and in person at Soundgarden in Armory Square.
