The Foundry & Firewater BBQ
We are pleased to announce our Fall Scenic City Supper Club event -- The Foundry & Firewater BBQ -- featuring chef Pat Martin of Nashville's Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint. Taking place on Sunday, October 23, the dinner will play off chef Martin's specialty -- the whole hog. A legend around the pit for his western Tennessee style barbecue, Chef Martin is a founding member of a barbecue advocacy group Fatback Collective and is a main fixture at the annual Big Apple Barbecue in NYC. Local talent Nathan Lindley (Public House), Molly Follett (Terra Mae), and Andrew and Jeffrey Hennen (Bone's Smokehouse) will join chef Martin in the kitchen to create a four-course meal for 130 guests at the historic Wheland Foundry & US Pipe site, a Chattanooga manufacturing icon placed right along the Tennessee Riverwalk. While details are still being finalized on the menu, supper clubbers can expect to find the makings of a classic fall barbecue, with miniature pork pulled sandwiches, brisket, seasonal salads, very special Southern desserts, and more. Bartender Lauren Kramer (Main Street Meats) will be serving fall-inspired cocktails and cracking local beer from Blackberry Farm Brewery for guests upon arrival. Table decor and flowers will be stylized by Petaline Floral.
The full list of participants includes: - *Featured Talent* Pat Martin (Pitmaster of Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint; Nashville, TN) - Nathan Lindley (Executive Chef and Owner of Public House; Chattanooga, TN) - Molly Follett (Pastry Chef of Terra Mae; Chattanooga, TN) - Andrew Hennen and Jeffrey Hennen (Owners of Bone's Smokehouse; Chattanooga, TN) - Lauren Kramer (Main Street Meats; Chattanooga, TN) - Petaline Floral (Chattanooga, TN)
