Folk Art & Friendship Class: Paper Stars
Folded paper stars are a beautiful decoration that can easily be adapted for any season. They can be hung from the Christmas tree, an ornament stand, or even from a chandelier--or they can be strung together to make a garland or attached in a circle to form a wreath. The possibilities are only as limited as the imagination!
The craft is easy to learn and inexpensive as well. Instructor Kenneth Brunning will show you how to bend and weave four strips of paper in such a way as to make a 3-dimensional 16-pointed star. Your craft can be used as-is or it can be decorated and then dipped in wax to increase its durability. Sign up with a friend and have fun learning this decorating technique together.
