Out of Context #3: King of Kings Lutheran Church
You've probably never been a part of a live dance experiment before, right? Get ready.
For Life/Art Dance Ensemble's newest production, we'll be exploring journeys-- narrative journeys, spiritual journeys, and, yes, an actual physical journey through space and time together. In this full-length, site-specific dance showcase, the audience will follow the dancers around different locations in three unique spaces: a wine bar, a brewpub, and a church! Responding to the environments of the various spaces, the dancers of Life/Art Dance Ensemble and four live musicians will conspire to make each show different from the next.
You (the audience) will be able to journey with us throughout the space-- there's no 'right' place to watch from, and we encourage you to view the performance from as many angles and vantage points as you can. Come to one, two, or all three shows to see what happens when you take choreography off the stage and into new contexts!
