Free State Roller Derby's 5th Annual Masquerade Brawl
RIVER CITY ROLLERGIRLS VS. FSRD'S BLACK-EYED SUZIES
Calling all ghouls, goblins, and undead derby fans! All the tricks and treats will be happening right here in Rockville on October 22! Come see your Black-Eyed Suzies of Free State Roller Derby take on the River City Rollergirls of Richmond, VA for their LAST bout of the season: the 5TH ANNUAL MASQUERADE BRAWL!
With sweet treats, crazy costumes, and heart-pounding track action, this Halloween-themed bout is sure to be a good time for all! This is a family-friendly event so bring your little ones! Chairs will be limited, but there will be space for your blanket or stadium chair to watch derby picnic style.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., bout starts at 6:00 p.m.!
TICKET PRICING
Ages 5 and under: FREE!
Ages 6-11: $5
General Admission: $10
HALF-TIME
There will be a costume contest at half-time, so bring your cutest, silliest, or spookiest costume and win some Suzies swag!
AFTER PARTY
An after party will be held at Urban Bar-B-Que Company. Come celebrate a great bout with great barbeque!!
ABOUT OUR ROLLER DERBY LEAGUES
This event is brought to you by Free State Roller Derby (FSRD). As the only women's, flat-track roller derby league in Montgomery County, MD, FSRD is hometown and homegrown. Founded in November 2009, FSRD is 100% volunteer-run by a growing group of devoted skaters, Fresh Meat, referees, and non-skating officials.
Our guests are: The River City Rollergirls. RCR intends to foster an environment that will expand, enrich and complement the overall quality and experiences of Womens Flat Track Roller Derby and amateur athletics for women as well as uphold a strong belief in and support of community outreach.
