Bach's St. John Passion
The Octavo Singers will present this oratorio in the beautiful and appropriate setting of St. John the Evangelist Church. First performed on Good Friday of 1724, the Passion According to St. John was one of the few works that Bach revised and revived intermittently until the end of his life; a clear demonstration of the high value he placed on this masterpiece!
