SATURDAY CLASSES
ART/ DANCE/ MUSIC

Your young dancers will meet for 4 consecutive Saturdays to explore, through dance, art, and music, a different theme each month.

These 4 day sessions are focused around different ballets; (The Little Mermaid, Le Corsair, Lady and the Tramp, or Children of the Forest).

Each Saturday includes a Pre-Ballet dance class, a break for snacks, and an Art Project. Sessions culminate with an informal mini-performance, with scenery, props, and costumes created by the students.

Ages 3-5: 10:00- 11:45 am
Ages 6-8: 1:00- 3:00 pm

Cost: $80. per session

SEPTEMBER 29, OCTOBER 6, 13, 20: THE LITTLE MERMAID
To the music of Vivaldi, children learn the qualities of tempo, weight, and energy; all while exploring under the sea!

JANUARY 5, 12, 19, 26: LE CORSAIRE
A classical ballet of pirates, high seas, and high adventure!
Set in the Mediterranean to the music of Adolphe Adam, this ballet has the sublime elegance of the bejeweled princess' and the Big Leaps of all those Pirates!

FEBRUARY 2, 9, 6, 23: LADY and the TRAMP
In an al fresco Italy that adults will envy, February is the time for accordion music, the Italian Tarantella, and of course, the sharing of pasta dance.

APRIL 13, 20, 27, MAY 4: CHILDREN of the FOREST
Explore that world, deep in the forest, of these very small people, their animal friends, and the neighboring fairies, in this Elsa Beskow classic.
