SKYLIGHT BOOKS PRESENTS JOHNNY MARR for the launch of his autobiography SET THE BOY FREE in conversation with JASON BENTLEY
Skylight Books is delighted to present Johnny Marr, at The Vista Theatre with Jason Bentley of KCRW.
Johnny Marrs new autobiography, Set the Boy Free, tells the story of one the most influential guitarists and artists of all time. Marr has been constantly pushing musical boundaries in a career that has spanned decades, styles and genres. From co-founding The Smiths with Steven Morrissey, to forming Electronic with Bernard Sumner of New Order to collaborations with The Pretenders, Talking Heads, The The, The Cribs, Hans Zimmer and Modest Mouse, here is a true history of musictold by one of its very own legends.
Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Ticket price includes a copy of the book. The program and Q&A will be followed by a signing. Johnny will sign BOOKS ONLY--no memorabilia, posters, DVDs, fan art, etc. Also, we are not allowing any photographs.
