Hold on Alice~Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School

On November 4 and 5, the students of Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School will be performing Hold on Alice.
Shows are at 7:00PM on both Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 evening along with a 3PM matinee on Saturday the 5th.
Hold On Alice is unlike anything you've ever seen in a performance at Hamilton-Wenham. This year the students started out with a simple prompt: stories from Alice in Wonderland and Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass. They then adapted it into a creative and unique play: Hold on Alice. The students began the process by working with various movement exercises to develop the physicality of the characters in the show. Together, they brainstormed and performed possible plot scenarios and characters, bouncing hundreds of ideas back and forth and later narrowing them down and writing a script incorporating the real world along with the world of Wonderland. Not only is the script student written, but accompanying the dialogue is student-composed music. These compositions were created by taking the students ideas and arranging them into songs. To top it all, these extraordinary aspects were created in a period of only eight weeks.
Hold on Alice is a one-of-a-kind show that follows Alice as she uses Wonderland to cope with her ever changing reality. So please come and enjoy her journey.
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and seniors. Order your tickets here for the convenience of purchasing in advance via credit card and printing at home.
