Mark Heyes & Phil Salazar
Join us on Saturday, October 29 at 7:30 pm for an evening of well-crafted songs & guitar/fiddle excitement, as we present Mark Heyes and Phil Salazar in concert!
Mark Heyes is an Emmy Award winning composer, singer, songwriter and guitarist. A truly eclectic artist, Mark performs story driven, energetic, emotional Alt-Country, Bluegrass, Blues and Folk songs. Opening for the likes of Marshall Tucker Band and the legendary Dave Mason, Marks making an impression with his masterful guitar playing, distinctive voice and songwriting.
Phil Salazar is an entertainer, teacher, record producer and champion fiddler. He straddles the borders between traditional bluegrass and contemporary sound, performing world-wide. The California veteran has fronted and performed as a member of many bands (Rincon Ramblers, Cache Valley Drifters, Kinfolk, and more), produced several recordings, and recorded and/or performed with Bob Weir, Kenny Loggins, Gilles Apap, Dave Mason, David Grisman, John and Jonathan McEuen, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Tom Scott and Dean Parks.
Mark and Phil first met and played together while pursuing individual music careers. The stylistic differences they bring to their musical collaborations make for on-your-feet-cheering shows and tunes that linger in your mind long after the end.
Joining Mark and Phil will be Tom Corbett on mandolin and Chad Watson on bass.
Tickets are $15.00 general admission and available online and at the theater box office starting at 7 pm on the evening of the show.
