Annual Cemetery Walk

Enjoy a quiet stroll as you visit the resting places of various of Petalumas past luminaries. Their stories will be told by docents dressed in period piece garb. Comfortable shoes suggested.

The Petalumans of Yesteryear return to reflect on lilfe in the 19th century Petaluma. Presenting their life story at their respective gravesites will be:

Capt. Baylis, early river captain
The McNears - Ida Bell, Clara and John McNear
Issac Wichersham, Esq., lawyer and entrepreneur
Professor and Sarah Lippitt, lawyer and educator
Brainerd Jones, Petaluma's renowned architect
Addie Atwater, early civic leader
Lyman Byce, Petaluma Incubator Company
William Howard Pepper, founder Pepper kindergarten

Tour begins at the Cypress Hill office parking lot -
Cypress Hill Memorial Park
430 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma
at 10:30 a.m.
We will walk from gravesite to gravesite, and listen to these costumed Petaluma Pioneers tell their life stories.
