Smith Street Early Stages presents The Frankenstein Project, an experimental, collaborative, and original adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic novel, Frankenstein. Smith Street Stage has invited a group of actors, directors, designers and other theater practitioners to adapt a segment of the Mary Shelley novel as a starting inspiration point in initiating an original, short piece of theater. With support from Smith Street Stage, these artists will create their own bold, inventive, and challenging pieces of performance art. The individual pieces will be brought together by Smith Street Stage to render a new creation, our own Frankenstein's monster, in the form of a daring and artist-driven reinterpretation of the classic horror tale.
Join us October 30th and 31st to see this monster come to life!
Tickets are just $10 to guarantee your seat, or a $10 suggested donation at the door subject to availability!
