Looking for something new? Been thinking about trying derby? Come join our trainers for a 6 week bootcamp and be part of our recreation league. All our skaters start out in this program and continue to train to be part of our Home Team and/or WFTDA Charter Team.
You will be put in a beginner bootcamp with other new skaters. Trainers with the Spindletop Rollergirls will teach you everything you need to know: how to skate, how to fall properly how to stop along with the game of flat track roller derby, rules, strategies, referee signals and other skills.
Mondays and Wednesdays at Manning's Texas on Wheels
7:15pm - 9:15pm, both days
You can purchase a starter set of gear from the B. Trouble Skate Shop at http://www.btroubleskateshop.com or Bruised Boutique at http://www.bruisedboutique.com.
Loaner gear available on a first come, first serve basis. Limited sizing on skates.
Bring a mouthguard.
All ages and all levels of athletic ability welcome.
Our members vary in age and athletic ability.
All skaters must be 18 years or older.
