Short Stories Live: The Roaring Twenties
Join ACT Theatres Kurt Beattie and local actors for an afternoon of stories written during the Roaring Twenties. P.G. Wodehouse's "The Amazing Hat Mystery," "The Baby Party" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and "The Standard of Living" by Dorothy Parker share an interesting threadthe fashioning of relationships by young people in a consumerist hedonistic world that is morally ambivalent. In other words, something like the scene confronting young people today.
