Master Class for Dancers @ Milford Center for the Arts
Alison Cook Beatty, Artistic Director of ACB Dance, and company members will be leading the dancers through a high-energy and enjoyable dance class focusing on the fundamentals of modern dance. Alison's training is grounded in the classical forms of modern dance including Jose Limon, Paul Taylor, and Martha Graham, while also studying classical ballet technique, and all of which will be incorporated into the master class. The class will also be taught parts of ACB Dance Company's repertoire that will be performed that weekend.
This class is open to all levels and ages (primarily starting at 10 years old as a guideline).
Dancers should allow enough time arriving to check-in and get ready. Class is intended to be barefoot, but shoes are optional.
