Balkan Christmas
Featuring Fred Wests Christmas Cantata inspired by rhythms, harmonies and singing styles from the Balkans, scored for strings, hand bells, timpani, soloists and chorus. We will also sing traditional carols from Croatia, Bulgaria and other Slavic countries such as Ukraine. Special guest artist: Dunava Balkan womens choir, directed by Dina Trageser.
Wests Christmas Cantata is an imaginative and spirit filled work that tells of Christmas through Eastern European and Middle Eastern ears.."
