Deborah Silverstein and The Band of Erics: Holiday Concert/Crafts/Coffee Fair: Special Guests: MUSIC OUT FRONT!!
It is an honor for Tremedal Concerts to host Deborah Silverstein, and too many guys named Eric in her wonderful band. We are amazed by Deborah's lovely new recording, a truly magnificent effort from an artist at the height of her songwriting powers.

Deborah has been a fixture on the Boston area acoustic music scene since the mid-70s when she was a founding member of the New Harmony Sisterhood Band. She went on to perform with the bluegrass band, Fire On The Mountain, before breaking onto the national scene with her solo album, Around the Next Bend, on the Flying Fish/Rounder Label. Following that, Deborah had an initial 9 year stint with the 4-woman a capella quartet, Taproot. After a ten year hiatus, Taproot, happily, has reconvened and is performing again. In addition to her solo album, Deborah recorded two albums with Taproot, If You Build It and Grand Design. Both contain many of her original compositions.  One of these, Draglines, about strip mining in hometown Western PA, has become an environmental anthem recorded by numerous other artists.

Most recently, Deborah has been performing on the local acoustic circuit with Eric Wells contributing stunning guitar and harmony vocal accompaniment, later joined by Eric Kilburn on Mandolin, and Eric Clapton on guitar (just kidding) and Eric Levenson on bass.

Special Guests: MUSIC OUT FRONT: six singing activist moms, singing for the change we
want to see in the world....to save the planet; against climate change, for peace and justice!
