Melted Inhibitions
Melted Inhibitions is a one-woman a cappella memoir that weaves together monologue, song, and spoken word. Through an unapologetically raw narrative, this piece calls the audience to a hard, but loving, look at the self. Questions of privilege and oppression lead Alana through Mexico, Hawaii, Zimbabwe, and back to the bay, forming a story that mirrors the human journey in self-actualization, yet that remains unfinished in a way that allows for the ever-evolving.
