Bethesda Green Farm Tour Bus Trip
When: Saturday, July 28
Where: Meet 8:45 am at Bethesda Green, 4825 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814. Join the group traveling by bus to the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve for the day. Bus leaves at 9:00 am, and we plan to return around 3:30 pm. The bus will visit four farms -- Brickyard Farm, Calleva Farm, Rocklands Farm and Button Farm. At each farm there will be a tour and guest speaker to talk about a particular topic within the local sustainable food movement.
Cost: $15 per person, includes bus ride, tours and speakers.
Lunch: Not included but people are invited to bring a bag lunch or to purchase food from any of the farms we visit on tour.
Honest Tea drinks will be provided for free.
