Lunch and Learn- Sustainable Site Pavement Systems
Stormwater management is an aspect of the Federal Clean Water Act and applies to municipalities and stormwater districts. Design professionals will learn how to better integrate site development using low impact design practices that will provide for a more natural method of capturing and treating first-flush pollutants and enhancing the environment. The process and procedures discussed will also contribute to LEED credits for better site management. Presented By:

Presenter's Bio:
Charles Taylor is the National Hardscapes Advisor for Oldcastle Building Products and Belgard Commercial. He has 35 years of experience as a design/build firm for segmental paver systems and for the past 15 years as a consultant to engineers, municipalities and stormwater designers for segmental construction of permeable pavement systems. He is a speaker and trainer/ instructor to the stormwater and segmental pavement industry for use of permeable pavement systems and LID as post-structural BMPs, as well as other sustainable pavement systems. He has spoken to the 8th and 9th International Block conference, ASLA and ASCE groups and other National groups regarding the design and development of segmental pavement systems for use as an ecological tool to preserve and protect the environment.
