Louis Landon is a Steinway Signature Artist and has dedicated his life to music. His passion is for peace. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry: classical music for Mikhail Baryshnikov on national and international tours, Latin music with "Pucho and his Latin Soul Brothers" on national and international tours, pop music with Rupert "Pina Colada Song" Holmes on television and national tours, rock & roll with John Hall, opening for "Little Feat" on national tours. For the past 23 years, through his production company, Landon Music, he has written and produced music for film, video, and commercials, including three years of "best plays" and "bloopers" commercials for the National Basketball Association. Not long ago, Landon realized that his music - the solo piano compositions that bring him so much joy and peace, could surely bring joy, and particularly peace, to millions around the world. Louis Landon's mission is to create a more loving and peaceful world by writing, recording and performing, music from the heart. He has released 11 CDs on the LCI record label and is currently writing compositions for his upcoming CD entitled Peaceful Solo Piano from the Heart. He will be recording in August in Seattle as part of his Northwest 2012 mini-tour.
Matthew Tavis Johnson started on the piano when he was four years old. Matt was initially motivated by his father, who also plays professionally. Matt continued to play through his childhood without any formal lessons. At age 18, his first CD of original compositions titled "A Brighter View" was created, an album very clearly showing great potential. Now that potential is being reached and stretched. At 29, his talent and understanding of the piano have flourished, and allowed him to compose beautiful melodies that people of all ages can relate with and enjoy. Starting with his first, and very well reviewed 2006 Album "Reach for the Sky", he hasn't looked back. The highly anticipated "Walk With Me" album was released in April of 2007, and is an album of an intense variety of emotions. "Light" and "Dark" (released in 2008 and 2009 respectively) have you singing under a rainbow at one moment with tracks like "Macy's Lullaby", and "Spiral Dance", then your gripping the edge of your seat the next moment with the complex yet morosely addictive "Blackness", and "For Those Unloved". The latest album, "The Big Bang", just released last month and has been three years in the making. "I wrote 194 songs intended for this album, and put on only a very carefully selected 11. Every song and note was carefully thought out - if you like solo piano, I truly believe this is the album for you." Matt has performed in concert all over the west coast from Seattle to San Diego, and almost everywhere in between. He has also had the opportunity to perform out of country in Costa Rica, Japan, Vietnam, and France.
