Fruit Tree Workshop
Spend a morning helping to plant fruit trees at the brand new home of a Habitat for Humanity home owner.
The event will include a short presentation on proper tree selection, planting techniques, care and maintenance and pest and disease management.
After the presentation, participants will help install fruit trees.
WHAT: A hands-on fruit tree planting and care workshop and tree planting. Dress for the weather and for getting dirty. Participants will help plant trees.
WHEN: Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 to 11:30 AM.
WHERE: Location will be provided via email upon registration. Home is generally located in inner SE Vancouver.
COST: Free.
