Focus on Farming XIII - Focus on Forestry II
Focus on Farming is the only one-day gatherings for all types of farming in one location; whether organic or conventional, livestock or row crops, large or small. Providing quality education to sustain current farmers and attracting new farmers to our region is a critical component in securing the next generation's local food supply.

Afternoon keynote Dr. David Kohl will speak on "Positioning for Success in the Economic Reset" - The agriculture industry is in a major economic transition. The great commodity super cycle that fueled much of the income statement and balance sheet growth in agriculture is in the rear view mirror. What will be the emerging trends impacting agriculture and rural Americas bottom line in the short and long run? What are the latest trends and views in agriculture? What are some of the best management practices that could help you to position during this economic reset?
This year we will once again host "Focus on Forestry"! Focus on Forestry is for both large and small forest landowners from all over Washington State. The day will follow the same template as Focus on Farming with session on various topics include forest land preservation,forest health and economic opportunities for landowners, such as valued-added timber products and recreational uses for forestland.
