Hands on History: Faces of the Revolution
Discover the stories of real men and women who experienced the tumultuous American Revolution. Take on the character of a Connecticut figure, such as a Patriot soldier, a Loyalist supporter, a young woman on the home front, or a runaway slave who joined the British army. Well uncover the story of each person as we investigate the letters and artifacts they left behind, and trace their steps through the colonies war for independence.
This program is designed for students ages 10-14. The cost is $8 per student for CHS members and $10 per student for non-members (parents or guardians are free). Space is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information, please call (860) 236-5621 x222 or email corinne_swanson@chs.org.
