Classical Interludes: Steven Masi
Concert pianist Steven Masi is a modern day rarity, an heir to the great tradition of pianists in the line of Wilhelm Kempff, Claudio Arrau, Artur Schnabel and Wilhelm Bachaus who love and excel in the great German and Austrian masterpieces.
This is the third concert in pianist Steven Masi's cycle of the Thirty Two Beethoven Sonatas. His recording of the complete sonatas is forthcoming on Albany Records.
This concert features four of the lesser known sonatas, all of them groundbreaking masterpieces of the composer's early and middle period; the op. 78, op. 10 no.3, op. 27 no. 2, and op. 31 no.3.
Children under six will not be permitted entry.
