Three generations of women share their raucous and refreshing approaches to navigating work, love and family. Rock star academic Catherine (Tracilyn Jones) envies her friend Gwen (Jake Lipman) who is often frustrated by her domestic responsibilities and unambitious husband Don (Patrick Daniel Smith).

Meanwhile, cheeky college student Avery (Brittany Anikka Liu) wonders whether she has more in common with Catherine's aging mother Alice (Rochelle Slovin) than any of today's modern feminists.
