Il Buco's "Sagra del Maiale" Pig Roast
Please join Donna Lennard and the il Buco family to celebrate our annual "Sagra del Maiale"!

Sunday, September 25th
12pm - 6pm
47 Bond Street, New York, NY 10012

The event will take place on the cobblestone sidewalk
outside il Buco, rain or shine.  Join us and the community to celebrate the arrival of Fall!

Dinner plates include an assortment of the following items:
Whole Slow Roasted Heritage Pig
Flying Pigs Porchetta Panini on Ciabatta with Blueberry Balsamic Mostarda
House-made Flying Pigs Farm Apple Sausage
Panzanella Salad
Wild Arugula Salad
Pasta alla Norma
Calçots with Romesco

Dessert:
Apple Ricotta Fritters with Saba

Alcohol Beverage:
Choice of wine or seasonal beer

Non-alcoholic Beverages:
Iced Tea
Lemonade

*This year we will be donating the profits from the event to the Comune di Amatrice, our neighbors in central Italy, recently devastated by the earthquake on August 23rd.  This area is known for it's incredible tradition of all things related to pork or maiale, from the best "norcini" or salumi maestros to the best porchetta in Italy; thus, it feels particularly significant to share this day in some way with the people of that region from Amatrice to Norcia and the surrounding area.

All pigs are heritage breed and pasture raised by Flying Pig Farm of Battenkill River Valley, New York.
